TOTC 2021-22 - Virtual Shift - TRAILER (promo)

Virtual Shift – Tour Across Canada is the project-creation of Taste of the Caribbean Inc.’s music, arts, food, and rum festival, normally held at the Old-Port of Montreal, which receives 50,000 – 90,000 attendees annually. This past summer (of 2021) would have been our 22nd anniversary of our 4-day outdoor event. However, due to industry lockdowns, the festival has decided to go digital for the time being until we can once again receive our usual spectator numbers or close to…perhaps in 2022! Building on the success of our 2020 Virtual Edition (Season 1-3) web series "Mi Casa Es Su Casa" (19 episodes in total), filmed mainly in Montreal and Ottawa; we are now travelling across Canada to film Caribbean artists in various cities performing in front of strategic locations representative of that city, as well as discovering and exploring the intricacies of the local Caribbean cultural businesses: restaurants, bookstores, art galleries, etc. FULL Series: https://totc.ca/virtual-shift BLOG: https://totc.ca/virtual-shift-web-series -----------ABOUT THE FESTIVAL-------------- Taste of The Caribbean (TOTC) festival is the largest FREE Caribbean Music, Arts, Food, and Rum Festival in Canada, which takes place every second weekend of July @Old-Port of Montreal. The outdoor festival normally draws between 50,000 - 90,000 attendees every year on-site. From its beginnings in 1999, TOTC’s mission has been to promote the diversity of Montreal and Canada's Caribbean culture to all audiences in order to form a better understanding and integration between cultures, as well as to influence Canadians of non-Caribbean descent to eventually travel to the Caribbean region, while at the same time, direct them to visit local Caribbean outlets here, such as: local businesses, arts, live performances, imported products, etc. WEBSITE: https://totc.ca FB: https://www.facebook.com/ilovetotc IG: https://www.instagram.com/ilovetotc TWITCH: https://www.twitch.tv/ilovetotc #ilovetotc #festival #music #arts #culture #caribbean #coffee
